DEFUNCT!

I think after all these years my blog is going defunct.

I don't have time to keep it up to date.  Plus I think most people who ever checked in here probably follow me on Instagram which I do use from time to time to post pictures of what we have been up to.  I also need to get caught up on my printed photo books so I'm going to work on that.  Maybe at some point I'll start using this blog again but for now it's on pause.  Thanks for visiting!

Summer Begins

After Slippery Gulch the kids stayed in Tekoa at Camp Grammy and Grampy.  Juan and I went home to Boise.  I painted our bedroom and bathroom (it only took 3 years), shampooed the carpets, and did lots of other cleaning and house projects that aren't easy to do with kids.  We also went out to dinner a few times and went to the Counting Crows & Live concert.  After two weeks mom and dad drove the kids back to Boise... spent a couple nights and then on July 3rd we left for our summer vacation road trip over to Western Washington.
It's been a busy summer!

Claire came in First Place (female) in the Fun Run and won another medal (third year!).
Bryce also did awesome and ran most of the race!

Claire played in the 3-on-3 tournament with Cannon, Casey, and Hayden (she wasn't sure about it... it was really for junior high and up) but she did great!

Farewell!

The evening of the last day of school we also had a little driveway farewell s'mores & mimosas party for our neighbor Sharon.  Sharon and Steve already lived next door when we moved in back in 2002 so we've known each other a long time!  Sharon is moving to Nevada to live close to her son and grandchildren (Steve passed away last fall).  We are really going to miss her!
