Slippery Gulch 2018

Playing with cousins!
Hot tubbing!
Slippery Gulch Parade (in the rain).
Claire came in First Place (female) in the Fun Run and won another medal (third year!).
Bryce also did awesome and ran most of the race!
Claire played in the 3-on-3 tournament with Cannon, Casey, and Hayden (she wasn't sure about it... it was really for junior high and up) but she did great!
Both kids loves these bubble ball things.
It was so fun to have Tara, Jensen and Trevor come down, too.
Gotta take a ride in the car!
Found some old fireworks.
We had fun meeting Tank and visiting with the Hake/Frenches!

Small Business Saturday (A long day!)

We kicked off the morning at Eclair's for pictures with Santa and some treats.  Then we walked around main street to fill in our "passports" at all the businesses.  Even though there were only 12 businesses it took quite a while!
We played outside and shot some hoops back at the house.
I wanted to get a family picture.  This is what I got.
Bryce was obviously exhausted so we left him at home to (hopefully) take a nap (which he did with Grampy) while Claire, Grammy, and I went back uptown to the Empire Theater to watch The Goonies which they were playing as a community event (free, too!).
The movie ended just in time to go to the Christmas tree lighting in the park.  They had all the kids sing some Christmas carols and passed out candles to the adults.  Santa arrived by ambulance to turn on the lights.
Then we raced home so that we could head out to Mike and Shannon's house to watch the Apple Cup.  The Cougs really stunk it up!  I love them anyway though so Go Cougs!
Dad had been so disgusted with the Huskies that he was cheering for the Cougs.  He considered going back home to change his shirt before it was even halftime.

Thankful for Thanksgiving

You can barely see that the sun was shining right on Tekoa town.
Kids enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner.
Beautiful sunset to the west.  (Cold, windy, and raining some, too.)
 Rainbow to the east.
Brrr!  We still took a walk though.
Loved getting to snuggle and play with Jensen!
Pretty sure this was about the only Thanksgiving dinner Bryce ate.
These little cousins had so much fun playing together!
These big cousins had fun, too.
